2000 Great Harbour GH37 Lollipop has sold

M/V LOLLIPOP – 2000 Great Harbour GH37 Trawler Version B

Lollipop is not a dock queen; she is ready for her next adventure.  Although she may need some cosmetic updates she is a solid and immediately usable GH37.  Since we purchased Lollipop in 2021, she has traveled approximately 2600 miles – so far.  We have crossed the Gulf of Mexico with her twice and locked through 30 locks from Mobile to Guntersville and back to Mobile, Alabama.  In our travels, she’s cruised glass like bays and 6 foot waves of the gulf.  Throughout our travels she has received lots of compliments, attention and smiles.  We bought Lollipop in 2021 to do the Great Loop in 2022.  We are only selling her due to some health and business issues.  We are still doing some part-time cruising with her in the Atlantic coastal area of Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. With a 2 ft 10 in draft she is perfect for these shallow coastal regions or the Bahamas.

COCKPIT

The huge covered cockpit can be entered via swinging coaming doors from either the large swim platform (with central boarding ladder) or from alongside the starboard side.  This space is perfect for relaxing or al fresco dining, with plenty of room for a table and two deck chairs.  Features include a large mounted propane grill, storage in two deck lockers, storage compartment under the deck, and overhead mounts for fishing rods or boat poles.

DECKS

Doors on each side of the pilothouse lead to walk-around decks, which go forward through the opening Portuguese bridge to the foredeck.  There are built-in twin storage lockers on the front of the bridge that have comfy cushions (recovered 2020) for relaxing underway or at anchor.  The large bow pulpit holds the two self-launching anchors (polished stainless Ultra Main anchor to starboard and a Danforth to port).  Twin electric windlasses handle the launch and retrieval chores and provide excellent redundancy.  A waterline bow bridle completes the ground tackle package.

Going aft from the pilothouse and up two steps, we go up onto the boat deck where the large, fast dinghy sits in chocks, ready to launch via the deck crane.  Two more large deck boxes add more storage for lines, cables, fender, etc.  An electric folding mast allows you to get the air draft down to 13 ft 6 in.  Also on the aft boat deck you will find the Marquipt 6 step boarding which can be used on port or starboard.

Textra window covers all around the pilot house keep the inside of the boat cool and private while at the dock or at anchor.

SALOON

Double doors from the cockpit lead into the wide-body home-like saloon/living room that goes almost the entire 16 ft beam of the boat.  The 6 ft 6 in head room gives this area even more home-like livability.  Seating includes a spacious L-shaped settee to starboard and comfortable recliner with hassock to port.  Also to port is a desk unit with an entertainment console and pull-out dining table for four.  Forward there is a pass-thru to the galley with a flip-up countertop and two director’s chairs for casual dining.  Forward and down three steps to the gallery and living accommodations.  Go up five steps to the pilothouse.  Custom window treatments and plenty of storage (like everywhere you look on this boat).

Over the galley pass-thru is a TV (2021).

Next to the pilothouse staircase is a cabinet for the apartment-sized stacked washer and dryer.

MASTER STATEROOM

The roomy master stateroom is in the bow and boasts a full queen size island bed with hanging lockers to port and starboard.  Drawers are everywhere including four huge ones under the foot of the bed.  There is a tremendous amount of additional dry storage under the sole in the alleys that reach forward.  Wall-mounted flat screen TV and easily cleanable V Groove fiberglass paneling complete the look and feel of home.

In addition, the master stateroom features and en suite head and shower.  The bedroom has the vanity/sink, medicine cabinet with the vacuflush head and large shower in its own room off the master stateroom.

OFFICE / STORAGE

To starboard opposite the galley is a space that serves as the boat’s office and/or second stateroom.  This space is currently used as a storage area for tools and miscellaneous items.  A large L-shaped desk has plenty of storage below and a flip-up.  There is additional storage under the lower bunk/desk.  Overhead are storage cabinets and forward is the guest/day head with vanity, vacuflush toilet and separate shower.

PILOTHOUSE

The pilothouse on this boat is a delight.  The view over the bow is unparalleled and the extensive instrumentation makes navigation a breeze.  Aft of the helm is a very comfortable L-Settee with a dining table for 4 that folds down to make a queen size bed.  A small watch berth is above the settee.  Pilothouse doors on both sides of the hem are invaluable for docking maneuvers and securing the boat in locks.  In addition, 360 degrees of opening windows with screens allow fresh air and light to flood in on those beautiful days.  This is the space where everyone will congregate while underway.

Textra window covers all around the pilot house keep the inside of the boat cool and private while at the dock.
