Lollipop arrives at Lake Guntersville

Thomas, Bronson, and Lollipop arrived at her home marina on Lake Guntersville today.  The journey from Ruskin, Florida, started on June 24, 2021, and ended today on July 6, 2021.  During this time they traveled 1050 miles and put 170 hours on the engines. Lollipop spent one night at Santa Rosa Yacht Club on the fuel dock,  two nights at Turner Marina in Mobile Bay waiting on water levels in the river to go down, and one night at Kingfisher Bay Marina at Demopolis, Alabama.  Lollipop anchored out the other nights.  They have traveled in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and back to Alabama.  They have traveled in Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf Intercoastal Waterway, Mobile Bay, Mobile River, Tombigbee River, Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, the Tennessee River, and numerous locks on the way to Lake Guntersville.

I’d like to thank Bronson for going with Thomas on his first journey with Lollipop.  And a Shout Out to JADIP for being a buddy boat from Mobile to Demopolis, Alabama. Thomas has learned a lot.

When I become part of the crew, my lessons will begin.  I have enjoyed keeping friends and family updated with this blog and Facebook posts third hand.  Soon I will be updating first hand on board Lollipop.
