Our Log from Tavernier to Miami:

We left an anchorage at Tavernier and traveled north along the Florida Keys via the Atlantic Ocean. We traveled through the Angelfish River to Biscayne Bay, continuing north until Miami. Biscayne Bay is beautiful and shallow. We had to take care to stay in the channel.

A popular anchorage for Miami is in the bay of the Miami Marine Stadium. This anchorage is famous for the lights of Miami at night. The Miami Marine Stadium host the Miami Boat Show. My daughter tells me Miami had urban artists do the artwork for the stadium.

The views at night from the Miami Stadium Anchorage did not disappoint. Neither did my iPhone 13’s camera. I was shocked this photo turned out so well.

The southern part of Florida is so crowded that it has been hard to book a marina. However, we are hoping to get in a marina soon.
